Electronic
Medical Records Job: Implementation Trainer
This person holding this Electronic Medical Records training position
must be able to work closely with clinical personnel to translate
clinical requirements and technical specifications needed to create
templates appropriate to the practice. Responsibilities, knowledge,
skills, abilities and working conditions may change as needs evolve.
Preference is given to candidates who have a clinical background
(RN, LPN, MA, etc). This Electronic Medical Records person must
demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position.
This Electronic Medical Records person must also be competent
in using Electronic Medical Records Software.
Electronic
Medical Records Job: Supervisor
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Electronic Medical
Records, this position will be responsible for the successful
maintenance and support of office based electronic medical record
and practice management applications for physicians. This Electronic
Medical Records position requires the incumbent to work with
physicians, clinical and office staff, hospital staff, and vendors
to maintain a suite of software systems that will completely
automate the office practice. This Electronic Medical Records
position will be responsible for managing the support activity
of the company and have direct supervision of the staff.
Electronic
Medical Records Job: Manager
This Electronic Medical Records position is responsible for
overseeing the daily operations of the Electronic Medical Records
department, including direct supervision of electronic medical
records staff, training staff, scanning and indexing in electronic
medical records system, ensuring work flows, charts and release
of records are consistent and up to date. This Electronic Medical
Records Manager maintains completeness, accuracy and confidentiality
of medical records by developing and assuring compliance with
departmental policies and procedures. Assures all functions
are carried out in a productive manner, providing CEO with daily
and/or weekly reports. The electronic medical records manager
must have extensive understanding of policies and procedures
related to legal matters, including confidentiality, amendment
of medical records, release of information, patients rights,
medical records as legal evidence, informed consent, etc.
